Purchase Options Cancellation Policy

Pre-order now. Cancel before fulfillment.

Some POP Board Co. products may be available through purchase options such as pre-orders, back orders, trade show orders, incoming inventory, or other reservation-based purchasing. This policy explains when those orders can be canceled and what happens once the order is fulfilled or shipped.

Pre-orders reserve out-of-stock or soon-to-arrive products.
Full payment may be collected at checkout to secure the order.
You may request cancellation before fulfillment.
Once fulfilled or shipped, the order cannot be canceled.

1. What This Policy Covers

This Purchase Options Cancellation Policy applies to pre-orders and other purchase options offered by POP Board Co. This may include out-of-stock products, soon-to-arrive products, incoming inventory, back orders, trade show orders, product drops, boats, motors, docks, chairs, paddle boards, bundles, and other products that are not ready for standard fulfillment at the time of purchase.

By placing a pre-order or purchase option order with POP Board Co., you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Pre-Orders

When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying a product that is out of stock, incoming, or soon to be available, but not yet ready for standard fulfillment.

POP Board Co. may collect full payment at checkout to secure your pre-order. This payment reserves your place in line for the product, color, size, model, bundle, boat, motor, dock, chair, accessory, or related item ordered.

Estimated arrival and fulfillment dates are estimates only. Timing may change because of production schedules, freight, customs, carrier timing, weather, warehouse receiving, trade show inventory movement, or other delays outside of POP Board Co.’s control.

3. Back Orders, Trade Show Orders, Boats, and Motors

Some orders require additional processing before fulfillment. This is especially common with larger products, incoming product drops, trade show orders, BattleBoats, BattleCats, motors, batteries, docks, chairs, bundles, and oversized items.

  • Back orders: A back order is for a product that is temporarily sold out or waiting on replenishment inventory.
  • Trade show orders: Orders placed at boat shows, outdoor shows, demo events, or pop-up sales may be processed in batches after the event.
  • Boats and motors: BattleBoat, BattleCat, motor, battery, and power-related orders may require additional freight staging, manufacturer timing, carrier coordination, or special handling.
  • Docks and chairs: Large inflatable products and bundles may require oversized package processing before shipment.

The normal shipping timeline begins once the product is available for fulfillment and the order is ready to ship.

4. Cancellation Before Fulfillment

You may request cancellation of a paid pre-order, back order, trade show order, or other purchase option order if the order has not yet been fulfilled.

To request cancellation, contact POP Board Co. as soon as possible with your order number, full name, email used at checkout, phone number, and the item you want to cancel.

A cancellation request is not confirmed until POP Board Co. replies and confirms that the order has been canceled.

5. Once Fulfilled or Shipped

Once your order has been fulfilled, packed, handed to the carrier, or shipped, it can no longer be canceled.

  • POP cannot cancel the order once it has shipped.
  • POP cannot stop the package once it is with the carrier.
  • POP cannot pull the package back once it is in transit.
  • POP cannot guarantee a reroute after shipment.
  • Carrier delays are not cancellation grounds once the order has shipped.

If the order has already shipped and you no longer want the item after delivery, review the Returns and Refunds page to see whether the item may qualify for return.

6. Refunds After Cancellation

If POP Board Co. confirms that your order was canceled before fulfillment, the refund will be processed back to your original method of payment.

  • Refund timing may depend on your payment provider, bank, or credit card company.
  • Once POP issues the refund, your bank or card provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
  • If your order has already shipped, cancellation is not available and the return process may apply instead.

7. Order Timing and Estimated Dates

Any pre-order, back order, trade show order, restock date, container date, product drop date, or estimated shipping window is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date.

POP Board Co. works to ship orders as quickly as possible once inventory is ready, but delays may happen because of carrier availability, freight schedules, manufacturing, customs, port timing, weather, warehouse receiving, or high order volume.
