Not Covered
The warranty covers defects, not abuse, accidents, or wear.
POP gear and Rover Marine boats are built for real use, but warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, impact, improper storage, neglect, modifications, lost parts, or normal wear and tear.
Impact Damage
Damage from rocks, docks, shore-pound, fin impact, dragging, loading, unloading, travel, airline handling, or other impact events is not covered.
Heat and Sun Damage
Damage caused by overexposure, direct sunlight storage, UV neglect, or inappropriate storage temperatures is not covered.
Normal Wear
Normal wear and tear, fading, chips, scuffs, cracks from misuse, dock rash, cosmetic aging, and everyday abrasion are not covered.
Lost or Stolen Gear
Products, parts, accessories, fins, paddles, caps, pumps, or boat components that are lost, stolen, misplaced, or sunk are not covered.
Misuse or Modification
Aftermarket modifications, commercial use, use outside product instructions, and use outside the intended purpose may void coverage.
Boat Use Damage
Punctures from handling, dock scuffs, boat-to-boat abrasion, wildlife damage, improper storage, lack of care, and dinghy rot are not covered.
Warranty Process
Send the proof. Tell us what happened. Let the team review it.
Do not ship anything back before starting a warranty claim. POP Board Co. reserves the right to repair, replace, or otherwise support eligible products based on the claim review.
Proof of Purchase
Have your order confirmation, receipt, purchase date, or proof of purchase ready.
Write the Issue
Include a clear written summary of the defect and when you noticed it.
Add Photos
Send clear photos of the issue, full product, affected area, and packaging if relevant.
Add Product Details
Include serial number, model name, order number, phone number, and return mailing address when applicable.
Recall Check
Have your board serial number? Check it.
If you are trying to see whether your board serial number is affected by a recall, use the recall application page. This keeps the request organized and helps the team review the correct board information.
A recall check is separate from a standard warranty claim. Use the right form so the request goes to the right place.
Before you start
- Find the serial number on your board.
- Take a clear photo if requested.
- Use the recall application form.
- Wait for POP Board Co. to review the serial number and respond.
Know The Difference
Warranty, returns, and shipping damage are not the same thing.
A manufacturer defect is different from buyer’s remorse, freight damage, normal wear, or a return request. Use the right page so the right team can review the issue faster.
