Shipping and Delivery

Good gear should not be a guessing game. Here is how it ships.

Paddle boards, docks, chairs, accessories, Rover Marine boats, motors, rigid boards, pre-orders, back orders, and trade show orders do not all move the same way. This page gives you the simple version before your gear heads out.

Quick answer

Most in-stock orders process in 1 to 2 business days.
Orders over $100 USD may qualify for free shipping, with exceptions.
Back orders, trade show orders, and pre-orders ship when inventory is ready.
Rigid boards ship as oversized freight and must be inspected at delivery.

What Are You Shipping?

Small box, big box, freight box. It matters.

Inflatable Paddle Boards

Inflatable board kits usually ship like standard parcel orders. You get the order confirmation first, then tracking once the order is packed and moving.

Docks and Chairs

Inflatable docks, platforms, and chairs are bigger packages, but still built for portable water days. Remote and rural addresses may need an extra shipping review.

Boats and Motors

Rover Marine boats and motor orders can ship differently based on size, battery rules, inventory timing, destination, and carrier requirements.

Accessories and Parts

Leashes, fins, pumps, bags, repair kits, straps, and replacement parts are usually the easiest orders to pack, ship, and track.

Rigid Boards

Rigid paddle boards and surfboards are oversized freight. They do not qualify for standard free shipping and must be inspected carefully at delivery.

Special Order Timing

Back order, trade show order, or pre-order? Read this part first.

Some POP orders are placed before inventory is physically ready to ship. That can happen with new product drops, trade show orders, sold-out items, incoming containers, seasonal restocks, boats, motors, bundles, and high-demand sale items. If your item is marked as a pre-order, back order, or trade show order, the normal 1 to 2 business day processing window starts after inventory is available for fulfillment.

Back Orders

A back order means the item is temporarily out of stock or waiting on replenishment. Your place in line is held, and the order ships once inventory is ready. If timing changes, the team may contact you with an update.

Trade Show Orders

Orders placed at boat shows, outdoor shows, retail events, or trade events may ship after the event batch is processed. Some show orders are fulfilled from incoming inventory, not the display floor.

Pre-Orders

A pre-order reserves an out-of-stock or soon-to-arrive product. Payment may be collected at checkout to secure the order. If the order has not been fulfilled, cancellation may be available under the cancellation policy.

Before It Leaves The Warehouse

The simple version.

We want your gear moving fast, but the right shipping method depends on what you ordered and where it is going. A leash and a rigid board are not the same shipment. A dock going to a city address and a dock going to a remote area are not always the same rate.

In-stock processing time Most in-stock orders process and dispatch within 1 to 2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
Tracking You will receive an order confirmation after purchase, then a shipping notification with tracking once the order ships.
Orders over $100 USD Orders over $100 USD may qualify for free shipping, but remote areas, rural areas, rigid boards, oversized freight, and special carrier quotes may be exceptions.
Remote and rural addresses POP Board Co. may cover up to $100 USD in shipping cost. If the carrier quote is higher, we may contact you for the difference before shipping.
Peak season and sales During big sale events, summer rush, holidays, show season, and high-volume windows, processing may take a little longer.

Rigid Boards Are Different

Do not sign first and inspect later.

Rigid paddle boards and surfboards are oversized freight. That means delivery is different, damage rules are different, and inspection at the time of delivery matters.

If the box, packaging, or board is damaged, make notes on the delivery receipt before signing. If the damage is serious, you have the right to refuse the delivery.

Rigid board delivery checklist

  • Inspect the packaging before signing the delivery receipt.
  • Look for tears, cuts, punctures, crushed corners, or visible board damage.
  • Write any damage directly on the delivery receipt or bill of lading.
  • Take clear photos of the board and packaging.
  • Report damage to info@popboardco.com within 24 hours for rigid board freight.
  • If the board is badly damaged, refuse delivery instead of accepting it silently.

International Orders

The gear can cross borders. Duties still matter.

International orders are shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid. That means duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, import charges, and customs fees are not included in the product price or shipping cost. Those charges are paid by the customer when required by the destination country.

DDU Shipping

Delivered Duty Unpaid means your order can ship internationally, but import charges may be collected when the package arrives.
