At POP Board Co., we stand behind the quality of our products. This policy explains our strict 60-day return window, item condition rules, restocking fee, return shipping responsibilities, final sale items, BattleBoat and BattleCat rules, damage reporting, and refund timing.
1. Return Period
You have sixty (60) days from the date your order is delivered to request a return for eligible products. If 60 days have passed since delivery, we cannot offer a refund or exchange under this policy.
Important BattleBoat and BattleCat rule: BattleBoats and BattleCats are not returnable under customer request once the product has hit water unless there is a manufacturer fault that requires review and return.
2. Eligibility and Item Condition
To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the exact condition in which it was received.
- Condition: Items must be unworn, unused, unwashed, and free of alterations, damage, water use, stains, odors, scratches, punctures, missing parts, or signs of misuse.
- Packaging: Items must be returned in the original packaging with all original tags, labels, protective covers, inserts, manuals, parts, and accessories included.
- Proof of purchase: A valid receipt, order number, or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
Right to reject: POP Board Co. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any return that does not meet these requirements.
3. Restocking Fee and Shipping Costs
Please review the financial terms before requesting a return.
- Restocking fee: All approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the final refund amount.
- Return shipping: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Original shipping: Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Large items: Oversized items, docks, boats, motors, rigid boards, bundles, or freight items may involve higher return shipping costs and additional handling review.
4. Return Process
You must request and receive return authorization before sending anything back to POP Board Co.
- Contact us: Email info@popboardco.com within the 60-day window to request Return Authorization.
- Include order details: Include your order number, full name, email used at checkout, phone number, product name, and reason for return.
- Wait for instructions: If your return request is accepted, we will provide the return shipping address and specific return instructions.
- Do not ship without approval: Items sent back without prior Return Authorization will be rejected and returned to you at your expense.
Risk of loss: You bear the risk of loss or damage during return shipment. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
5. Damages, Defects, or Wrong Items
Inspect your order immediately upon delivery. You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item.
To help us review the issue, include your order number, photos of the product, photos of the packaging, and a clear description of what happened. Failure to report damages or wrong items within 48 hours may result in denial of your claim.
If the issue appears to be a manufacturer defect, the claim may be handled through our warranty process instead of the standard return process.
6. Non-Returnable Items and Final Sale
The following items are final sale and strictly non-returnable:
- Sale items and clearance merchandise.
- Gift cards.
- Custom products, special orders, or personalized items.
- Products purchased in used condition, unless otherwise required by law.
- Products that have been used, altered, damaged, washed, inflated on water, placed in water, or returned without original packaging and included parts.
- Perishable goods, personal care goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
7. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. To make sure you receive the item you want, request a return for the unwanted eligible item first. Once the return is accepted and processed, you may place a separate order for the new item.
8. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification, subject to applicable law.
- The item must still be in the same condition as received: unworn, unused, with tags, and in original packaging.
- You must provide proof of purchase.
- This does not remove the requirement to return the product in eligible condition.
9. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approval: If approved, the refund, minus the 15% restocking fee and original shipping costs, will be processed to your original method of payment within 10 business days.
- Processing time: Your bank or credit card company may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
- Late refunds: If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, contact us at info@popboardco.com.
